Healthier Donuts

Healthier double chocolate donuts!! šŸ© super easy & tasty! I cut out some saturated fat/sugar & added some fiber by using skim milk, monk fruit sweetener & whole wheat flour instead of heavy cream/sugar/flour. I used a donut pan that I got on amazon!

Ingredients

  • 1 c whole wheat flour

  • 1/4 cĀ @lakantoĀ monk fruit sweetener

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1/2 c skim milk

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • For topping: 1/2 c chocolate chips & sprinkles

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder.
  • In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted ghee, skim milk, and vanilla.
  • Stir wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
  • Grease donut pan. Fill donut pan 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes. Inserted toothpick should come out clean.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Melt chocolate chips and dip one side of donuts in chocolate & add sprinkles.
